Natural and Organic Skincare Routine!

My Top Products for Natural and Organic Skincare

At a point in time, I struggled severely with acne. I remember dealing with acne as early as the sixth grade. After struggling for years, I have now learned about my skin and how to get it under control. After switching almost completely to a natural and organic skincare routine, I have noticed a complete change in my skin. Sure, I still get the occasional breakout, but not as often. I am here to share my current skincare routine that has counter acted my combination skin (yay oils and dryness) and other products that I believe are the perfect cure to clean skin!

Cleanse.

I first start with the Botanics Hydration Burst Dual Action Cleanser ($8.99). Infused with clary sage, this moisturizer is perfect for combination skin with it’s light texture and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and clean.

Tone.

I recently found two toners I love and alternate between. The Breath of Fresh Air toner from Lush Cosmetics ($10.95 and up)  and the 100% Organic Refreshing Toning Spritz from Botanics ($10.99) have helped clear my skin so much. By balancing the pH levels in the skin, my face is not as red and is more evenly toned.

Minimize Those Pores.

The YES TO Grapefruit Pore Perfection Night Treatment ($15.99) is a great product to minimize the appearance of pores. Even better, it is a 95% natural product with Vitamin C. I noticed a difference in my pores after using it a few times!

Moisturize.

Lastly and most importantly hydrate your skin! I cannot stress enough how important it is to hydrate your face to avoid dryness, premature aging, and irritation. I recently have been using the Radha Rosehip Oil ($50). Rosehip Oil is great for healing the skin, fighting aging and scarring, and hydrating skin with fatty acids. Sometimes, I even mix Rosehip oil with my body lotion!

First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration ($12 and up) is an amazing product that is vegan and has no harsh chemicals or parabens. I love this cream because it doesn’t feel oily on the face and is a great everyday moisturizer. At night, I use expeller pressed Organic Coconut Oil from Spectrum ($5.99 and up). Before I go to sleep, instead of the Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration, I use coconut oil with the Rosehip Oil so my face can soak up the oils over night.

Treat.

Mask of Magnaminty ($14.95 and up)

I prefer the self-preserving mask because it has no preservatives in it. This mask feels minty and fresh on the skin and smells amazing! The combination of aduki beans and peppermint leaves my skin feeling oh so soft and clean.

YES TO Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask ($3.29)-96% natural product

This treatment helps clean out pores with charcoal and salicylic acid. You just leave it on for 5-10 minutes to detox the skin.

YES TO Miracle Oil Calm & Soothe Primrose Oil Mud Mask ($3.29)-96% natural product

This mask soothes the skin with Primrose oil and calms the skin down after a long day of work, makeup, or school.

Ever since discovering the benefits of natural and organic skincare products, I love the way my skin looks. I don’t suffer severely from dry skin, redness, or extreme breakouts.
